(1) Any police officer and his family member shall not accept any kind of donation, gift, favor or gift from any native or foreigner without the prior approval of the Government of Nepal, asking for or accepting donations, in connection with government work, in a way that may affect the government work in any way. The concerned person should not be involved in taking bribes or receiving any other kind of financial assistance.
(2) If a police officer receives a gift from a foreign government or a representative of a foreign government, he shall notify the Nepal Government and do so as prescribed.
